Shaun of the Dead Brushpen and Colored Pencils on Bristol This was a commissioned convention sketch that was graciously scanned and e-mailed to me. I did this one for a guy who always gives me the best stuff to draw - stuff that I have a blast doing, but probably never would have thought to draw in the first place, like Steve Zissou from Life Aquatic, or Earl and Randy from My Name is Earl. This piece was a lot of fun to do as I'm a big zombie fan and loved the movie. I like how the zombies turned out in this one, especially the ones to the immediate right and left of Shaun. The colored pencils are just kinda so-so on this one. They're kinda washed out. It probably would have been better if I had some markers or something. Some nice bright splotches of red would have been nice.
