Caveman Brush on Bristol Here's another of the Haircut drawings. In this case, it wasn't so much of me having an image in my head to begin with. I was just thinking that I hadn't drawn a caveman before. I wanted to draw him with a lot of hair and mass and knobby, ruddy parts. I think this was actually my second attempt. I remember ditching another version halfway through because it wasn't squat enough. I really like how this one came out, especially all the textures. I kinda wish I hadn't cheaped out on the cartoony club, though. I also incorporated this drawing into the Space Chicken backstory. This caveman is Space Chick's boyfriend. He lives on another planet and they don't get to see each other that often.
